Default 4.56 gears stock tires

Anyone ever put 4.56 gears in a 4.6 with stock size tires, I am interested in the best stoplight to stoplight performance already have intake tunes underdrive pulleys done to it just really looking for it to accelerate above average up to 60 or so and smoke the tires easily

uhhhhhhh complete waste of money, but I'm sure 4.56's would smoke them easily...just as easily as 3.73's and 3.55's lol

but correct me if I'm wrong, can you physically fit 4.56's into the 9.75" rear end? I thought 4.11's were the biggest fit...

I retract my last post...Upon researching, you have the 8.8 rear end if I'm not mistaken and you can fit those in there. They will help with acceleration, especially with towing. If all you want is light to light acceleration, I guess you can't go wrong...

I don't believe there's any problems with fitting them in the 9.75 but I think mine has the 8.8 being its the smaller v8 engine which I think needs a small modification to fit 4.56s, I have 3.73ls stock now and with all the mods I've done it still doesn't satisfy me enough so I figured 4.56 May finally put a smile on my face. I also run 34x12 tires now but am about to drop to 20x12 rims with 31 or 32 tires. My truck has true duals no mufflers so a lot of people try to race and I get tired of always lagging behind haha

Just keep in mind that you will be revving more with 4.56's vs the 3.73's you have in there now. The math comes out to ~400-500 more rpm to keep the same speed.
