Default 3inch body lift and leveling kit???

I have a 2004 lariat and was wanting to put a 3 inch body lift on the truck but also wanting to level out the truck with a leveling kit and I was wondering will I need anything else to do this like longer break lines etc. Or can I just do these and everything will still reach I know everything reaches with a 3 inch body lift had one on my old truck just wondering if it will still reach with the leveling kit also any help would be appricated.

If you go to Performance Accessories, i believe they make a 5.5 kit for your truck already. Body lift and leveling kit put together. I don't recall what the price was on it but im leaning towards $750. Good luck if you decided to go ahead and do it, be sure to post pictures!!

Ask yourself a couple of questions now.
1.Are you prepared for a PIA job(the body lift)I have installed a couple of them and there a pain.
2.If your doing it yourself, are you prepared to pay a nice sum to have it done for you?Places charge more for body lifts than suspention lifts.

If you answered yes to question 2.You might as well save up for a suspention lift cause in the end after everything is said and done,it will be cheaper.

But if you are instant on doing the 3'' lift.Shop around on line for the kit as you can find it cheaper(300-350)and can find a leveling kit for under a hundred bucks. So in the end save yourself some money($100.00 or more)www.hellbentsteel.com has a 2and half inch leveling kit(and were talking qaulity)for $69.00 shipped.

What size wheels and tires are you going to put on your truck after the lift and level?

If your going to run a lift, make sure you get some wheel spacers if your going to keep running stock tires. Also the biggest if you can find a place to mount and balanced(most places wont do it cause there machines cant handle it,or its against there insurance regs, trust me i know) are 35's are biggest you can go on stock rims.If you tried 37's,your tires will be squished you would ruin the tires in no time and i can almost certainly tell you(have seen it before)you go off road, you will break that bead, you hit a deep put hole while driving, you will break the bead.So please don't go 37's.
