36 gallon fuel swap
 

Is there a write to swap out the 24 gallon fuel tank for a 36 gallon one? I read that was possible. I don't know what tank to get though and what else I would need for that swap. I have a super cab fx4 2004 5.4

You sure you only have a 24? i have a 30 from factory

I have a 27 from the factory in my truck

Well I know I don't have a 36 gallon. So is a swap possible?

It is possible, and I know a few people have done it. But its not an easy swap nor is it cheap, unless you are very lucky.

Can't get this on some of the new models
 

:mad: Ford dropped this option on the 2wd models several years ago, can only get with 4wd now. I'm glad mine has the larger tank, comes in handy for towing.
