I agree with summers
Find out what kind of shavings , aluminum common from timing cover . Check out damage to timing cover . Check cams and bearings , lash adjusters ,rollers .Oil pickup tube screen maybe full of plastic from guides.
If bad lean towards crate engine ,junk yard bad deal . If you can get crate engine see if you can get them to give you guaranteed oem phasors maybe an up charge .
This engine too picky to play with different cams . perhaps ford reman cheaper than jasper . My last quote from jasper $7500.
Normal good timing job with oil pump $1400 just in parts . But that's with new lash adjusters and rollers .
But if head damage /cams / bearings etc it would not be worth it , point of no return for me .
