Just one block. Stacking blocks is not a good idea.

Is your truck 2wd?

Mine is 4wd. With the factory 1.5" block and a 1.5" spacer in the front and it sits level. I think because its a supercab with the 5.5' bed it requires less level so in theory if I take both the spacers and blocks out and put 3" in it should sit level

If you do blow your cv or ball joints, just replace them with quality aftermarket ones. I had an old bravada which I had my suspension angles so far beyond bad, Once I started blowing stuff, after wheeling hard for about 2 months, I replaced everything (huge advocate of moog ball joints dont remember which cvs) Everything stayed put after that. If you're really worried, look up prices of new parts and see if its worth the worst case scenario.
