Default 3" Inch Suspension Lift Questions

I have a bunch of questions, as I am new to this community, and to Ford. If I want to put on a 3" suspension (I don't want to get into body lifts) lift on my 2007 SCrew 5 1/2' F-150, I need to get a few things cleared up:

1. Will 35s rub with only a 3" lift?
2. What's the best complete 3" lift kit out there?
3. I've been told that trucks with lifts 'vibrate', and lose ride quality...is this inevitable/true?
4. Can someone measure their roof height, so I know if the truck will still go in my garage?
5. What wheel offset would give the best 'aggressive' look...tires sticking out about 1-1.5"?
6. What is the max tire width I can put on without rubbing?

Don't feel like you have to answer all the questions...if you know the answer to one, chime in!

Muchas gracias, guys!!

Search if your friend. Pretty much every one of your questions has been beaten to death around here.

I find it quite discouraging to post on a forum when almost every topic gets someone with too much time on their hands telling me to search. I've done the forum thing for years...trust me, I know how to search. Somehow, even when the search doesn't yield the right answers for me, and I innocently try to get simple answers...I get fried. I guess I'll spend 40 hours weeding through the endless crap on here and weed out the subjective answers and other useless comments and try to make sense of it all, rather than just have it in one place.

Anyone have answers?

Thanks.

We've both tried to tell you now that the Sticky's at the top of this section have the answers you're looking for. They answer all the questions about what size rims and tires work with which leveling kit and also what leveling kits are worth the money and which ones aren't. It's threads like this that make the forum get clogged up with endless people too lazy to read the sticky's that the mod's took time out to organize and put into one place.

Here I'll make it easy for YOU. 35's will fit with a 3" leveling kit. A 3" leveling kit will wear out your ball joints faster than a 2-2.5" (this is what most people say...some have luck with it not wearing out quicker but most don't). There's no such thing as a 3" "lift kit" for our trucks. The smallest made is 4" and quite a price jump from a leveling kit. Leveling kits don't "vibrate" because they are only a spacer on top of your strut so the truck maintains stock ride quality. Everything else about wheels and tires can be found in the Tire Fitment Sticky on the top of this section.

Dude, I've been researching this S(#* for a week, and I'm confused as hell. I'm under the assumption that a "leveling kit" is to level the front with the back. NOW, why do some get a 2.5" leveling kit, and some get a 3"?? I've seen that some get a front leveling kit, and still add "blocks" in the rear? What the hell? Are you saying a 3" leveling kit will wear out my front end components? What kit won't? Can you see my confusion?
