Default 3.5 inch leveling and lifting kit?

I'll be getting a leveling and lift kit in a few weeks and I am planning on getting a 3.5 inch spacer for the front and a 2.5 rear block. I want the stock 4x4 stance without the rake. I have a 2005 xlt supercrew 2wd. What do you guys think? I've been seeing a lot of mixed results on the 3.5 inch spacer? Any pics would be nice. Thanks

I would say not a good idea, for sure. 3" would be max, 2.5" ideal

I really wouldn't go beyond a 2.5" spacer in the front. Anymore and the angles will be too steep and cause big problems. On my truck I'm putting the 2.5" HBS kit on the front and putting some 33" tires on. It's the best you can do without shelling out $1800 for a 6" lift kit. ($99>$1800)

Never heard of 3.5 either but if they do make one... he has a 2WD so CV Shaft angles are not a problem..I don't think your math adds up to level.. and the bigger the block in the rear will cause problems like axle wrap

Yah but he still has to worry about ball joint angles, tie rod angles, and prolly maxing out the travel on his struts. It was kinda tuff to shove that Ol 2.5" on my dads truck, i wouldn't wanna see trying a 3.5".
