Thats what im saying. I personally got my gears at 4wheelparts and they installed it as well as my limited slip all for 300 bucks. Gotta work em a little bit so they lower the price.

you can run 35's and 3.55s easy...... and the price difference you guys are getting is because its usually around 350 to 400 for parts and labor.... for once axle... a lot of people that reagear for bigger tires are re gearing front and rear.... you guys are talking about re gearing a 2wd witch means you are only doing the rear

I just bought my FX4 in Feb. It had the 6" Pro Comp with coil spacers, stock struts, and the cheap Pro Comp rear shocks. The truck rode fine on the highway, but felt like a tank on bumpy roads. I was very disappointed because I am always on bumpy roads. I found the Bilsteins on Topguncustomz.com for $400 and they are the best upgrade I have ever had. They even come in custom lengths and eliminate that ugly spacer and bring the coil spring back up where it goes. I would recommend them to anyone with a Pro Comp Stage I. The stage two upgrade was going to be $1200.

I have the 6" Skyjacker on my FX2 sport. I love it so far. Havent had any problems with it and came out to be exactly level. Put on 35" Procomp Xtreme All Terrains, and havent regeared. I have 3:73 right now

I've been running 2.73s on 33s for almost 10k miles now and nothing has gone wrong. I think what youre trying to say is that it won't hurt to run the gears for a while.. And you're right....

Wrong, I know my prices in my area for 2WD's. I just think you guys are going to a mom and pop shop.

So anyone who gets a part or labor for less than what you paid must be either lying or getting low-grade materials and a second-rate install...I'll bet the sun was in your eyes every time you missed a pop-fly too.
