Im running 295s as well i have 3.73s ad no programmer and you definitely feel the power loss at first. after a while you won't notice it. I will say this tho, my truc is always up shifting with this setup now. If you live in a hilly area(like me) be aware of that.

There's calculators out there. But when my truck shows 60 I'm actually close to 68-70ish. And it gets worse off the faster you go.

My truck was always shifting especially on the highway. The edge evo took care of that plus the extra power makes it feel like it should. Keep you eyes open on craigslist or ebay and you can get one for a resonable price. I highly recommend some sort of programmer with bigger tires.

Is there much difference between 295/70R18 trail grappler and a 35x12.5R18 open country m/t? Either one I will be putting on stock rims

295s are 34.3" tall and 11.7" wide. 35s are over 13" wide.
