Default 2018 f150 3.3 into a 2007 Lincoln Mark LT

I don't know if this was discussed before, but I have an option to put a 3.3 engine from a 2018 f150 into my 2007 with a 5.4 currently. My question is, is it possible to swap an engine or any way I can make it work into my 2007 body? I have the entire truck of the 2018 and can put anything else I need to make it work.

Welcome.

Possible? Absolutely! Easy? Maybe, depends on your skillset? Simple plug and play? Nope. Stay tuned for other responses from the smart folks around here.

It won’t be easy or simple in any way. A 2007 and 2018 are worlds apart.

The 2007 is long extinct dinosaur in comparison.

I would think with a torch, welder, and a workshop of fabrication tools, one could make it fit. For me personally, that's way out of my ballpark of knowledge.

Wouldn’t even need a torch or a big hammer. A 3.3 should fit, but you need the transmission with it and lots of luck getting the electronics to mate up.

OP, you get started and sort out the necessary stuff in the wiring harness. Take notes and let us know how it all works out.
