Default 2009+ parts list that will fit (some with modification)

Hey all I've been working on my project '04 F150 and I've been using some newer model parts to get it all done so I thought id share what I've learned so far will fit with little or no modification

- Rear shocks all the way up to 2017. If you have a taller than factory rear block, shocks off a newer F150 will get you back into the operating range of the shocks and give you a better ride. This also means with a high enough rear block (at least 2 5/8 inches) you can use Raptor take off shocks as well.

- Intakes from matching engines (4.6 5.4) will fit with some modification. I have a 5.4 intake from a 2010 raptor on my 04 with the snorkel from a 2011 5.0 (which has a bigger inlet) on the air box.

- Rear blocks will also fit as long as your leaf pack has the W shaped u-bolt retainers on it.

- Exhaust parts will fit as well. The only discrepancy is that the hangar on the front of the mufflers are farther back, so you'll have to weld an extension onto the hangar. Other than that it fits (2010 raptor exhaust on my truck)

- Newer style all in one key/fobs will work. Some trucks will accept the 80-bit keys, others will only take the 40 bit keys. However if you get a key thats computable with your PATS system, it will program with two original keys. They keyless entry will have to be programmed separate of the ignition key itself, out of the ignition.

- Truck beds up to 2014 will fit in the same length as your original

- Front bumpers can fit all the way up to 2014, but this one is a little more tricky to do. Mounts typically have to be fabricated/adjusted however it can be done. Local guy has a 1st get raptor bumper made to fit on his 05

- Rear bumpers will fit. This will depend on what hitch configuration you have, and you may have to switch hitches.

- The entire front clip will fit up to 2014 if you have all the matching parts

- up to 2014 front suspension components can work (upper control arms, lower control arms, struts) front struts changed mounts in 2013 on regular F150's however the raptor parts up to 2014 can be made to work.

- Wheels are the same bolt pattern even into 2018 on standard duty F150's. Some trucks with heavier axles have 7 lug hubs however. 6x135 is standard bolt pattern sizing.

-Im sure theres more, and ill post another update as I find more info. Thought this would be a good one to have out there to find.

- Mirrors from 04-14 will work on our trucks, with minor movement of the pins in the connectors depending on the year.

- after some digging around, it sounds like with the new shackles, 09-14 rear leaf springs will fit. However one of the mounting points to the frame will have to be moved as the springs are 6” longer

EDIT: I just saw a thread where a guy was doing a raptor swap on an '06. He put raptor leafs in but made no mention of having to modify anything. If someone with more knowledge could chime in that would be great

EDIT 2: A measurements are indeed 6" longer on 09+ leaf springs. With new springs, and shackles a good shop ought to be able to put them in with little concern of damaging the frame of the truck. I have another thread open to discuss the potential for damage doing this in case someone has more knowledge than I. That said the way I understand it you should be bottoming the truck out on the bump stops before hitting a point of stress on the springs that you'll start tearing brackets, and welds. I imagine with a good metal worker, moving the mounts 6" will not really be a cause for concern.

- Front Seats from 04-14 will bolt in and out of each other, however the electrical connections are different, and if you have a SuperCab theres no seat belt attachment. Looks as though the seat foam, and covers are interchangeable however. So if you wanted to update your 04-08 seats with new cushions and upholstery, you would just have to cut/stitch accordingly for the seat belt mount in SuperCabs on the new covers, and make sure it clamps down good with the hog rings.

- Front Struts will interchange as far as I can work out, just bear in mind the weight of the relative trucks for spring rates. Interesting side note - Rancho's Quick Lifts for 04-08 F150's has about 1/2" or more, extra away travel, than the 09-14 version. Not really sure why, but this might also be the case on other strut assemblies as far as the 09-14 versions potentially having more/less travel than the 04-08 versions. Something to bear in mind if you're trying to squeeze every little bit of travel out of a setup without getting super expensive.

- Side Steps are compatible on SuperCab trucks. (I think I hear some 1st gen Raptor steps calling my name)

- Side Steps for SuperCrew trucks for 09-14 are 6" longer, so the steps will have to have custom brackets made, or relocated to get them to line up.
