Default wow

those are sweet. i've seen regular projectors for the f150, but those are bad. Are they called halo lights, or is that just a general name for them.

I can't say who makes them, but they can be had through LMCtruck.com. Catalog #FE.5 Page 47.
I got a pair off of Ebay and they were nothing but junk, parts rattling around in the housing, halo on one did not work well. and one leaked, also, you cannot put a HID lamp in these! Save your hard earned money for something else....these are NOT worth the price and aggravation (had absolutely no help from the ebay seller. They are $300 from LMC Truck, they do have a warranty, but I won't go this route again. Just my .02

Mine have different Turn lights. They're round like the stock version. But they are black and can be found on eBay.
And I guess my old photos are gone from the site. Sorry, I got no pics other than the avitar. And even that's old. I got my cap installed 4 months ago.

Hmmmm,

Why wouldn't you be able to put HID's in?
I can put HID's in anything and almost have......change the bulbs to one that works for the application.
Did these use an H3 halogen bulb?If so then the HID H3's are alot shorter than a standard D2S bulb that has been re-based.

But if there is a problem with the Halo's then I think I will go with the Harley lamps and retrofit a hid projector in them.

These lamps use the stock H13 (9008) bulb, the HID bulb will physically fit the housing, however that round item in the center of the reflector is actually a magnifier type of lens. If you could cover the end of the HID bulb with a shield (such as the regular lamp has) then it could work, otherwise you have a straight intense beam of light straight out of the center...NOT GOOD !!
I now have a Bi-Xenon setup in the HELLA black housings and they work perfect.

You are kidding right?
They actually put the H13 in a projector?
That would be a big mistake as an H13 should only be used in a reflector set-up since they have terrible optics in a projector.I figured they would have used an H1 or H3 or an H4........I guess I could always swap projectors to a true HID projector like a TL or a E46 bi-xenon or I could go with a FX bi-xenon and use a TSX lense.......HMMMMMM
