2008 ford f150 build date
how to i check the engine build date of my ford f150 2008.
i believe the engine problems were fixed on engines built later then 10/07.
the build date for my truck is 2/08 but i want to see what date the engine was built to see if i have one with less problems.

Its on one of the valve covers I dont remember which one.

Drivers side valve cover. Your COP boots will also be brown if you have the updated heads.
Also, the only thing that changed was the head design to accommodate a fully threaded spark plug. The timing system is still the same as before.
