2008 F150 Sun visor problems
My current sun visor only has the lighted mirror. I needed the home link with it also, so I ordered one from a junk yard. After removing the two mounting screws it only drops about a 1/2 inch and I can't get to the plug or what I need to, to disconnect the wires. Do I need to drop the headliner to get to the wires?

Did you get a visor from another 2008? I have the home link on my 2008 but it would not work on a newer opener. I have to buy an accessory for it to work. My 2013 Edge works perfectly.I wonder if a new visor from a 2012 and up would fit our trucks?
