I have a 2008 F150 4.6 that I just replaced the upper intake manifold because of a coolant leak. Here is the issue... when I started it, it got a nasty misfire that wasn't there before and tripped a misfire code. The left converter got the rotten egg smell and started to glow red hot. I let it cool over night and replaced the coil and spark plug on the misfire cylinder. Restarted it and still misfires but no code, converter is not glowing anymore.. I am absolutely stumped

What was the code that it had thrown?

which intake did you go with ?

 

it was the cyl misfire code, don't remember what it was.. I went with the one from 1A Auto
