2008 F-150 Steering Wheel lockout?
Hello All, I'm new here, great forum! I just got my 2008 FX4 in August and have been reading posts for a few weeks.
I'm wondering if the current F-150s are supposed to have a steering wheel lockout when the key is removed? The Land Rover I had before this had it and my parents Lincolns both do it, so it seems weird to me that my steering wheel doesn't lock in center position when the key is out. Any ideas?

Welcome to the site!!
They do lock when the key is out of the ignition. Try taking the key out then turning the wheel as much as you can. Once you get so far it will lock.
