2008 F-150 FX4 leaking engine oil really bad from front end off drive shaft
Please help.
i just got the F-150 and was driving to put gas. When I stop at the pump noticed that all the oil from the engine was leaking In the floor.
i want under that truck and noticed that the drive shaft in the front is pretty much disconnected and is resting by the engine support.
How can I fix the issue.
i am pretty handy with cars and can not afford
to take it to the shop

Start with where it is disconnected, reconnecting it, and repairing what failed.
Are you sure it is engine oil? Or is it differential or transfer case oil leaking from the disconnected driveshaft? The only way I can think it would be engine oil is if the shaft punched a hole in the oil pan, which then begs the question of why it was spinning in the first place? Are you driving around in 4x4, or are your IWEs jacked? If your pan is punched through, you'll need to get a new pan and replace it, which means you'll have to pivot the front axle down out of the way in order to remove it. Don't continue to drive the truck until you figure out what's what.
No matter what, it sounds like you're going to have to invest a bit of time and $$.

Kind of hard to tell what it is by your assessment. The front differential and engine do not share the same oil.
Like duke said... if it IS indeed engine oil, your d/s probably whipped up and punctured the pan.
At some point, you had to have heard a loud bang.... or two.
