2008 cluster swap?

I have a 08 stx wit electric windows an locks....the. cluster lights up when i open wit the remote...i have a chime when the door open...dome light works...only problem is the ac compressor....i dont know what truck the cluster came from....? So to get the ac to work i must get a cluster from a truck that has manual ac??
Why did you swap? Did you not have a tach and we're trying to add one or was your old one broken?

The cluster came into play because tons of stuff is controlled through it and they are not all interchangeable. Must have the same features. 08 knows more about this than me but I do know what I have stated above is true for like he said 06 to 08 trucks.

Everyone...its a easy fix...just make sure the cluster u get came from a manuel ac truck....like the fx4 sport...i just swapped it out an everything works now...ac included..thanks for all your help!!

Glad you got it fixed. As we said. Make sure it is same model same year same features.
