2007 has been sitting for a year
Hey All,
I have a 07 STX 4x4 that's been sitting for a year (Feb-Feb) due to me being away for work. I was home in Nov and had to jump it. I let it run for an hour and then drove it about 2 miles and then reparked it again for the past 3 months. Besides jumping it, I noticed it was going into gear kinda harder than normal at the time but seemed to be better as I cycled through the gears. Now that I am back and will use it as a daily driver, is there anything I should do besides oil change? It has about 74K miles on it. Any info is appreciated.

I think I would take it for a good long drive, burn all that old gas out of it and have the battery load tested.

Keep an eye on your battery, once left dead for so long they may have trouble holding a charge.
I would change the oil, check fluids to make sure they are level and not milky (condensation after sitting).
Go for a long drive to get everything warmed up.
