Default 2007 Ford F-150 stalling/ shaking/ missing Fixed!

Hello stalling in reverse when hot and shaking . It has 238,000 km on it changed cops/spark plugs/fuelmodule/ still did it; then changed both vct solenoids. while valve covers are off cleaned cam phaser fins at the front to get carbon off. Ran a lot better but slight miss .looked at cam sensors bingo 1 warn out 1 slightly carboned up replaced both. Runs better than when l bought it . Plus changedtransmission filter to new updated one. Make sure you buy real Ford parts. These trucks don't like aftermarket parts. Use motocraft 5w20 oil and if your plugs have never been changed, use sea foam a couple days before and use an impact to get them out. Lots of videos on google showing you how. Good luck. I probly spent $800 in parts better than $ 5000 at dealership. Also, don't let them scam you into changing your cam phasers. They all seem to think that's the answer. If they aren't knocking don't do it.

i have 2007 F-150 wanting to change VCT to help stop rough idle shaking. My concern is the tube over rear of valve cover is hard pipe . How do you get the valve cover off with pipe in the way?

You lift it up, and move it towards the right. Because its secured to the same post that holds the wiring harness on the left, you just lift it off that post and move it over a little.

How is vent line mounted to post? Is there a secure the bolt that needs to be loosen? Don't want to make mistake as I read this is connected to back of motor and a bear to re-attach.
