Unhappy 2006 Lug Nut Removal Issue????

I have a 2006 F150 and the wheels are nearly impossible to remove. My impact doesn't budge the lug nuts, is there something I can do to make the lug nuts easier to remove? I've never had so much trouble...

Buy a breaker bar, or a better impact mine has no problem taking nut off.

Use an impact on 'em. That will usually always do the trick.

3/4" Ingersol Rand impact wrench will own those lugs nuts. But to solve your problem, a breaker bar will work. You can even take a lead pipe or something similar and put it over the breaker to extend and increase your leverage.

What PSI is your wrench rated for? Your compressor might not be able to provide enough CFM for it. Also keep in mind that the longer your air hose, the less PSI you have at the connector. Don't be scared about cranking the PSI on the compressor passed what the gun is rated. My Ingersol Rand is rated at 90 PSI and I usually run the compressor to 100-110 with a 50ft hose.

Thanks for the replies! I'm using between 100-125 psi depending how long I allow the compressor to run, I've broken one Craftsman Strong Arm, and, to clarify, I did put the nuts on by hand a couple months ago--didn't crank them down with an impact.
(Basically, I'm afraid of a flat tire)

Try a little anti-seize on the studs before putting the lug nuts on. Never had to do it to mine but it works.

The first time I rotated these tires, I had to use a breaker and jump on the end. They were fuggin snug.

Remember

Our truck's lug nuts require more torque than what a ricer can make.
