Sure man, I was in your same boat a few months ago. Only solutions I could find was Rancho 4 or get new wheels, or spacers. I've always heard once you lift you'll always want to go higher. Well, I'm pretty satisfied with my current height and I think it ended up being more around 5.5 than 4. Whatever you decide to go with is going to look awesome...just want to make sure it's functional. Good luck!

That Rancho kit for the 04-08 model has been discontinued.. It will work with the 5.5 BS.. That's what I have on my 22's... They have 1 kit left on this site... Better hurry.... www.PowerandPlay.com
Your next option will be super lift 4.5... I was told by rough country tech that their 6" kits are 4.5 to 5.5bs...
Power and play

That was my only other option...since im looking to spend 3 grand..I was going to get the RCX 6" with the front bilsteins for $1475; get the matching bilsteins for the rear $157; (both from topguncustomz) then pro comp add a leaf $98; and the kicker braces for the RCX kit, $100 from the RCX website. Thats $1840...then figure need the bilsteins mounted ($200) and alignment $90...So I was going to get a cheap pair of wheels with a 4.5" BS ($1000 or under for everything) and then sell my wheels that I have on my truck now....That is a very detailed plan B for my lift...Oh and I've decided to install it myself unless I find a shop to install a kit for a superb price....
Big quesion again though Kingranchforlife, you said you talked to a tech at Rough Country and he said their 6" kits can use 4.5-5.5" wheels??? Or he said superlifts would work? I will end up calling them eventually but this would change some thinking on my part (again).
Sorry for the book i just wrote....

The 4" one is too small for me...I feel like i would regret not going bigger. But thats probably going to be true with the 6" so oh well..haha. Wait, did you say tbe Rough Country 6" kit would work or a RCX tech said the Superlift would work with my 5.5"BS?

To be clear and SAFE i'd check... One of the main reasons I sent it back and got the Rancho... I know this kit will safely work with my BS... Another thing is that when I was searching this stuff I came across someone on F150online that had a Fabtech with 5" BS and said he had enough room to clear a 5.5" wheel. I was thinking that since Fabtech uses CV spacers to increase the track width that 5.5" probably would work. The Fabtech kits recommend a 5" BS but they also never test their kits with a 20" wheel (so their Tech says). My number 1 option is still the Skyjacker 6" and Im waiting for a member to get back to me about it. He has a 2008 King Ranch with the stock 20's with 295/60/20 Trails and a 6" skyjacker kit and it doesnt appear he has any problems in his photos. Hopefully he can let me know everything that I would need to know.

I was looking at the Fabtech kits and they said they will clear a 325/65/18 tire on a 18x9 wheel with 5" BS. That is a 34.6" x 12.8" tire. I have a 295/65/20 tire which is 35.1" x 11.6". Mine are 1.2" skinnier and just .5" taller. Is it wrong to assume that a 5.5" BS wheel with a tire that is 1.2" narrower can fit with the Fabtech kits? I dont know how it works exactly but since I have a narrower tire I wonder if I can make up for it with a wider BS wheel. And by make up for it I mean get away with it. Does this make sense to anyone? I am just thinking out loud and wondering if it works like this or not. Space is space whether its being taken up by tire or by rim. I just dont know if 1" of tire is equal to 1" of BS.

Double check the boxes when they make it. I didn't and was missing two braces... aft brackets maybe?? anyway Rancho overnighted them but it added a extra 48 hours to the wait that could've been avoided.
