Did you replace them with motorcraft? I put some Bosch plugs in a Taurus one time and it dang near wouldn't run

I didn't get any codes, needed plugs and coils anyways, and it ended up being the problem. That was the problem.. no codes. Wasted money on a few parts before I figured it out,cam sensor, crankshaft position sensor.

guys guys guys

If you are ALL listing the same problem........and multiple people have stated that it is your plugs and/or cops, why all the questions?

Replace your plugs. If that's been done recently, replace your cops.

Problem solved.

Bought a 06 f150 97,000 miles a month ago the very next day started doing the same thing around 45 miles per hour coming out or going in overdrive it would misfire no check engine light i thought it was transmission. Took it back to the lot and they took it to mechanic and decided it was a misfire. They changed all plugs and cop's run good for about a week and then started getting a severe misfire and cutting out threw a CEL and it was a misfire on #4 and #7. They changed cop's on both of them said new ones were faulty? Started back home didnt get 5 miles and started to do the same thing threw a CEL #4 misfire took it back and left it. They call back later that day and say it was a cracked plug on #4? Took it home run fine over weekend Monday morning misfire on #4 again! They work on it for 3 more days and said they could not figure it out and we would have to take it to ford dealership, they have had it for 5 days and i get a call from car lot saying everything is checking out and that they can not get it to act up at all. I will probably go pick it up today knowing it will eventually do it again im not sure what all they have checked i will try to find out today. Little discouraging buying and owning a truck for little over a month and getting about 6 good days out of it. BTW the car lot is really trying to work with me on this, and have been very good, bought as is no warranty

Plugs and COP's!! Had the same problem you all are describing. Went away and haven't had a problem since. Also it's not a bad idea to change the FPDM. Its not terribly expensive. Mine was ok but I changed it for the hell of it since these seem to go bad.

well picked the truck up from ford and they drove the truck 420 miles and could not get it to act up at all had gauges and some other stuff hooked up to it, said they couldnt find anything and didnt do anything to it. No codes or pending codes guess the shop before cleared them. So i take it home about 70 miles later truck startes missing and cutting out flashing CEL. It done it after coming out of high rpm's like its fuel? I took the fpdm off and checked it out looked almost brand new, could they go bad and not looked coroded at all? fuel pump maybe? guess i will take back to ford and should have a pending CEL code they can get, and i think i will take them for ride cause i have no problems getting it to act up. Really like the truck but starting to get very very discouraged probably wont see it for at least another week. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated

well still having problems with truck, been driving this weekend and playing around with a little more, the bucking and cutting out at low rpms and speed of 40 - 50 was fixed with the plugs and coils. but still having problems if i floor it and pass somebody or if cruise is set on 70 and come to a hill and it kicks out of overdive when it shifts back into od the CEL comes on and then all sorts of missing and bucking after light goes out fine shape, could drive on flat ground all day no problems
