2006 F-150 Auto Lamp partially Inop.
The headlights don’t come on when the switch is in Auto. The parking lamps do. The daylight sensor works. The headlights come on momentarily when starting the truck when the switch is in auto but then go out.
How do I tell whether the headlight switch is bad or the BSD or VSD (or whatever that module behind the back seat is) has gone bad? My dealer wants $700 to find out what is going on. I am a senior citizen and that’s serious money to me........
