2005 V6 Transmission Replacement
I have a 2005 F150 with the V6 and automatic Transmission. It is getting a little jerky (only sometimes though). Considering a replacement. Would it be smart to put a manual transmission in it? A friend of mine did this with his Dodge and says its the best thing he's ever done to it. Of course there is the problem with having a useless column shifter just there for looks, but that's minor.
What types of computer problems would I run into? I've had the transmission in this truck replaced before by the dealership. This one has about 130k on it.
Just exploring options.

Yes, I bring it in to a transmission shop here in town and its probably been flushed 4 or 5 times. It's about a once a year thing. Its not 4 wheel drive. If i replace it, itll most likley just be another automatic. I know theres alot of work when converting over.
