You're running a 4.6L on 20's and worried about going to a 35 because of towing???

the 4.6 does just fine with hauling my track car, just ran into problems going with 33's on my old chevy and rather not go too big.

I don't know why everyone cracks on the 4.6 for towing capability. I have one and it tows and drives just fine. And for the gas savings I'll take the decrease in power. Ford wouldn't put it in the trucks if it was incapable of doing the job. Hell I think the new 4.6 has the same or better tow rating than the 5.4's had in the last gen f150's. Just bc of the smaller displacement doesn't mean it's inferior. And to answer the OP concern of the 33's and towing they work just fine. I think the truck feels better with the taller tire driving than it did with the stockers

I wasn't cracking on it as I also own a 4.6 STX LoL. I was saying if he's worried about towing then why put more strain by running 20's w/ 35's? More rotational mass = more strain. For towing I would simply buy some stock 17's and 33's...which is what I'm running on my truck currently.
