2005 Hard Shift
I bought a 2005 SCrew XLT 5.4 w/tow package in early April. Lately (not entirely sure when it started), it's been hard shifting on occasion when I accelerate away from a light (I'm not a speed demon), and when I resume pressure on the accelerator after I coast (I'm not a fan of using brakes to slow down when I don't have to).
It's only got 40,000 miles (well, 44k now...) and I bought it from a Ford dealer who should have done the usual checks (fluids, basic functions, etc) in their inspections. I'm praying I don't have a lemon tranny and was hoping that you guys had heard of a common problem with these trucks that I haven't been able to find online.

Take it back to the dealer and have them inspect it.
Ford has a 100,000 mile powertrain warranty.
Mine was just fully rebuilt at 55k miles because the torque converter seal blew out while driving , dumped all the fluid out and roasted the insides
