2005 FX4 4x4 Rear End Oil?

What's the best type of gear oil to put in, and do I need any frictions modifiers. And how many quarts does it take. Thanks

You mine as well do the front.. too
Rear diff 3 quarts of 75w-140 synthetic with 4-8 oz of friction modifer xl-3

Front diff is 80w-90 3.7 pints

if you have a 3:73 limited slip it will take about 3 quarts of 75W-140 gear oil and a bottle of frictiom modifer.. brand oil depends on how much you want to spend.. most people go with mobil 1

05 FX4 most likely 3:73 LS but, like grss said double chech your door jamb sticker for your axle code..
