Default 2005 f150 weird electrical issue

so about a month and a half ago the alternator when in my truck, replaced it and now i seem to have a weird electrical issue. when i put the blinker on the dash lights flash along with the blinker, i also notice when im stopped if i hit tap the gas the light get bright then go back to normal. it also does it with the reverse lights. then one night i was going home i had my blinker on and was at about three quater throttle getting on the highway and the dashlights flashed really bad the headlights flashed and the radio turned off, got of of it and it went back to normal. since i put the alternator in it makes like a whining noise when the engine accelerates and mostly goes away at idle. i also noticed if i tap the gas when stopped the rpms go up and then drop down under idle rpms and go back up feels like the truck almost dies. i have hid headlights and led light pods for fogs. i also have a 500 watt amp and a 250 watt amp that came with the truck when i bought it. never had any of these issues before the alternator went. i have no idea how old the battery is i got it from a friend who had it laying around when mine went a year ago. sorry about the long post just really at a loss, any help would be appreciated

What brand of alternator did you use? These trucks are picky about the alternator. They like Motorcraft.

Maybe check all the connections from the battery to the alternator. Make sure they are very well cleaned and tightened.

I'd start with those items.

Could be a bad rebuild too. Did it have a warranty? If so you could take it back to them and tell them its whining and you're having electrical issues.

Default From what you say I think that old battery is a problem

Alt can't work well with junk battery .. You have to have a very good high cca battery for these trucks . I know a $100 battery is painful but we all have to do it every 4 years or so .
