Default 2005 f150. Larit

I Just recently bought a 2005 f150 triton 5.4L 124k miles. All was fine during text drive. On the way home over an hour drive the engine fail safe worning poped up. I hit the reset on the dash which cleared the worning. Then a week later driving @65mph down i5 sudden oil pressure loss worning and engine stalled. After 10 minutes was able to restart the engine but it happens once a week now. Only code being shown is the throttle body or throttle position sensor according to my scan tool. Any ideas in what is causing this?

when the oil pressure worning alert showed up on the dash. Engine stalled and was unable to restart the engine for about 10 minutes

What stumped me was I couldn’t understand why you tried to start it after oil pressure was lost.

Default Sounds to me that you have trottle body trouble

Miss match is causing limp mode and shut down to prevent run away throttle possiblity .
Every engine has low oil pressure on shut down . The oil presure switch is a dummy device it reads mid scale for anything over 7 psi . Computer does not have any magic back up oil checking system .
05 had a bad series of throttle body , I lost mine around 60k . Tried to clean it -replace tps . No go, drove me crazy for a month ,bought new one ebay $200 many years ago . If you do think you have oil problem check with external guage . You would have some engine noises and other codes also .

probably throttle body or position sensor.
Oil pressure warning will pop up if the truck dies. It'll also pop up during startup

limp mode and throttle body is your throttle body.... or one of the sensors on it.
i just went through it.... ended up replacing the whole thing.
i took the old on off and cleaned it first , which helped a little... but limp mode would still come back. after replacing it the problem was solved
