2005 f150 lariat 4x4 lift and wheels questions

I'm sure this has been asked before but I will ask.

I want to lift my truck and I wanted to put a 4 inch lift 18inch rims with 35's but the guy finding the parts says I need to go 4.5 just to put 33's

If anyone has any pictures of something similar could you please post.

Thanks everyone I appreciate the help everyone

All i have is leveling shocks and i run 18 inch rims with 3 inch tires. Took some trimming of the plastic inside the wheel well but they fit fine. With your 4 inch lift they will fit. Again it might need some trimming but your fine.

is this "guy" finding the parts from a shop and will he be doing the work? Like what experience does he have with these trucks?

Hello Idk if this will help answer your question or not. But just a few wks ago I installed a Rancho 4 inch lift for a salesman at the dealership I work at.. the lift after installed measured out to be roughly 5 1/4 inch increase.. the rims were 18 inch moto metal with a 4.75 back space .. I don't remember off the top of my head the off set with 35 cooper stt's just had to trim the bumper valance just slightly at the corners because the lugs of the tires would just catch in reverse only.. but for what ever kit your going with should list back space needed for the kit.. are you worried about them sticking out.. for example a 18x8 with a 4.5 back space will stick out about a inch.. any questions feel free to ask. Rancho and rough country are the only 2 4inch kits I've installed. Its the two brands the dealership offers but most of are kits we sell and install are the 6 inch version
