and the rear tires wont even spin if i give it wot in grass so something isnt right

The easiest way to know if it's calipers or not is to incredibly simply jack up the back of your truck while in N and try to spin the wheels by hand. If they're stuck then you have bad calipers. If they spin then I'd check out the rear diff for any noises and keep an eye on the drive shaft and inspect everything back there. From there I'd check the ATF dip stick (engine warmed up to operating temp, parked on flat surface and check while in N). If that checks out ok then it's time to dig into the a/t.
