I have a 2004 FX4 SuperCab with 4wd. It has the stock 18 inch wheels with stock 275/75/18 size tires on it. Can anyone tell me what is the largest tire size that I can fit on those wheels without having the leveling kit and without having the wheels rubbing? And what is the largest tire size I can put on those wheels with a leveling kit? Thanks a lot.

I have 305/65/18 BFG All Terrains on my '05 FX4 and they look great and i dont think any tire would ever be better. ive put about 70k on them (yes theyre pretty worn) and had them rub maybe 5 times since installation, thats like when turning on unlevel ground. Stock suspension = higher resale.

my buddy has the same truck and has the 325s on his and he says they rubb a good bit, but not undriveable by any means.

i believe i paid $1150 for 4 uninstalled

You can fit a 285x65x18 which is close to 33 inches tall on a stock 4x4 with no rubbing. BFG and I think Nitto make this size in an all terrain. Leveled out you can go with a 305x65 to be safe which is a 34 inch, or a 35x12.5 which may rub a little on the control arm's when turning.

i am gonna go with 35x12.50x18 on 18x9 xd hoss wheels with stock offset

Those 9" wheels will stick out 1 1/2 inches more than stock and may cause some rubbing on the lower wheelwells. You may have to do some trimming.

I am trying to o some mods to my FX4 I want to go with a bigger set of tires without spending a fortune on a lift. Can i do a 3" spacer on the front which would level out my truck and run 325-65-18 NITTO TERRA GRAPPLER TIRES AT or do I need to do something else to make these fit. I dont do allot of off roading so not to worried about the rubbing with the bad terrain more want them for looks. I have put about 2 grand in body mods and I want everything on this truck to make it stand out and look mean. So will these fit or do I need to put a lift under it?

275/70/18 is actually a 33.2" tire and is not the stock size. The stock size is a 275/65/18 (32") for 18" rims. So you already have the tallest tire you can fit without lifting. You can go a little wider though if you want.

Get a 2 inch level and 295/70/18. Will look great. Quite a few on here running that setup. With 09 2 inch is all u will need.

K I have a 2004 I know I asked what I would need but I am not sure if I wha I found is right. I want to level my truck out because there is a huge difference betweeen the back and he front what do I need to level a 2" or a 3" for a 2004 Ford FX4. Do I need front and rear or just the front?? I am posting a picture in my album let me know before I order everything thank you.
