Here in New England they made a patriots edition. It was a base model with 20" rims and and a pats sticker. Nothing special there.

It had has 17in chrome wheels that were nothing special at all. Im guessing its something like the texas edition though.

It looks like a sticker someone put on....
My XLT has the 36gal tank, a lot of trucks do. the only ones that didn't have that option were Rabs and scews/scabs with the 5.5' bed.

why would a dealer make a edition called "desert edition" and its a 2wd? lol dealers are dumb but not that dumb (i would hope lol). my vote its a prior owner thing.

a prerunner yes, but his truck is not setup at all to be a prerunner lol. if it had a little lift and a long travel suspension i would totally get it, but a bone stock 2wd? maybe just a nfab light bar with some kcs and i would get it, but nothing but the badge?

my vote is still a prior owner stick on badge lol

Just thought I'd say I also have a 2005 xlt desert edition. I'm in Iowa but I bought the truck used and the dealership bought it in an auction from Arizona so I'd say it's just like the Ok edition or something

I'm pretty sure it's just the trim package or chrome package.
