2005 Cruise Control will not work

2005 Cruise Control will not work

I have changed the disengage switch, checked the fuse. What else is there to check? Truck is still stock no fancy lights or anything.

Have you checked your third brake light? CC stops functioning if the bulb is out.

Other brake lights can cause this

Like led light bulbs etc.
