I'm pretty sure I replaced my 05 Lariat map lights (both front and rear) with 194 LED's. I'm at work now but I'll check my Amazon orders to find out for sure and report back.

Edit: Here's what I used:
Amazon Amazon

I replaced the map & dome lights, haven't done the license plate lights, and already had LED cargo lights...

we're not looking for leds. we are looking for the twist sockets that they go into

Default Map light sockets

I did actually know about the rear extra sockets but never took advantage of them. I did fix my mistake though, I was able to purchase some sockets (over 20 of them) off amazon that were smaller. I first thought they would not work and tried to return them and ended up getting to keep the product and receive my money back. So having them for free I was determined to make them work. With a little bit of tape its held and worked great for months now.

Just to clarify, is it the 5/8" sockets linked to earlier in this thread that you ended up getting to work for you? Just wondering, because I just purchased my 04 the other day, and I LOVE IT, but I took the map light fixture down to find no bulbs OR sockets in there. Just trying to find exactly what I need before I just start buying things, but based on what I've read here, and seen online, I'm not convinced I've seen anything that is the correct size yet. Thanks!

Yes I was able to make the 5/8's work. They are definitely small but with tape or other ideas you can make them work.

Can someone tell me the secret to getting the map light unit to come off without breaking any clips? Thanks in advance.
