Default 2004 Late Model Guage Cluster swap out.

Greetings all. I just bought a ford F150 SXT 4x4 that is (was) pretty bone stock. I recently added Cruise Control and found a dealership that charges $40.00 to do it.

I have posted photos of my guage cluster swap in case anyone wants to one actually working. I found a FX4 cluster and and the swap took about 20 minutes total. 10 of it was spent cleaning and dusting after removing the old cluster.

Old gauge cluster with bad Odometer Bulb.

New gauge cluster after install and working.

Looks good but I am going to have to find a cluster with very close mileage before I jump. I wish i knew someone who would flash or program it to what my cluster says.

United radio which is an outfit in my area does the flashing. My truck has 150,000 the new cluster says 127,000. Close enough for now.
