I have a 2004 Lariat 4x4 and my door lock horn confirmation does not work, meaning when I double click the lock button on my key fob I don't get the usual honk.

This is not a big deal since everything else works, such as the tail lights/hazard blinking when I press the lock button on my key fob. The keypad on the drivers door and also the panic button on the key fob (the lights blink without the honks) work. The horn works when I push the steering wheel.

I would like to have the honking feature for a better piece-of-mind when walking away from the truck and just hearing the truck being locked instead of looking back or coming out of the store to physically see the tail lights, etc.

Does the horn work from the steering wheel? If not maybe a fuse.

The horn when pushed on the steering wheel works like it should, just updated my original post.
