04-05 are known to have injectors that fail and stick open or close. I bet it's so stuck open that she's dumping ungodly amounts of fuel into one or more cylinders. SO stop starting her up, floor the accelerator and crank the truck (flooring it cuts the injectors and allows the cylinder to clear the flood). Otherwise you're gunna hydrolock your engine and bend something. Then proceed to check which injectors are stuck open.

Might be caused by raw gasoline on sensor.

I'd take a sniff at the tail pipe to confirm an injector is stuck open. You should be able to smell it. If not, then where is the smell coming from? One way to find the stuck injector, if you have one, is pull the plugs one at a time until you find one with gas on it.

Could it be the fuel pump, some people are telling my son in law that what is ,I just don’t think so because the fuel pump is coming on

If you hear the fuel pump and smell gas I'd say it's working.

Default I assume you are over 100k on an 04

It would be prudent to change all injectors for new at this point using new orings and motor oil to install them .
Injectors can ruin your engine. I would also torque all sparkplugs 25 to 28 foot pounds after you clear a flood.I would have pulled them all and cleared all cyl of gas .Better check /change oil as gas may have entered it .

Default I would also check fpdm on rear axle

That module controls fuel pump .They are known to dissolve and crack open due to electrolysis, very very common problem. Dorman okay for this . once water gets inside it goes nuts.Usually shutting down truck .High fuel pressure could cause all sorts of things.mine drove me crazy.
