Been working on a rear camera upgrade and am retrofitting a 2011 system in my truck. I just put in a 2011 camera with the RVD/Compasss and tried to see if my stock compass wiring (independent console behind old stock mirror) and nothing happened in the dash. So then i put the connectors back in the stock harness and plugged it back in the compass to relocate it, but now still -- is showing. Not sure what my problem is?? could i have fried something in the dash? i have all the wiring diagrams and am certain all the wires were put back in place, and even tried reversing them as well. i have also held the odometer button, but that doesn't even let me go into change zones or calibrate anything and i've also tried holding the button on the compass. So it's like the dash is not even reading anything.

wondering if any of you have some experience or ideas to troubleshoot!
