Default Tool boxes, what’s out there.

Tool boxes what’s out there.

This is my situation. I have the 07 F150 short bed crew cab. I have a total of 5’5 to work with. I am always hauling my ATV around I wanted to know if there is a small box that goes in front of a side wheel well and maybe over it for my tow straps ect? I want a box but not sacrifice front to back space, because it’s already at a premium to me.

I had the ones for the side on my last truck and the didnt hold up to well. So I find out that Kobalt made a slim line tool box. Baiscally taking the width of a normal box and cutting it in half. Just giving you so more info.

What are you looking to store? how about a custom box that slides under your quad.

I like the boxes from Cabellas, but my problem is anything I would need out of it would ALWAYS be on the bottom.

I just dont get what you are going to fit in one of those boxes that you could not fit in the cab.

TY,

I have 5 people in the cab. I have camping equipment, helmets, and 2 quads in the back with BBQ equipment. After a couple of days out on the beach the tow straps are usually pretty nasty, with the salt, sand, and moisture from the ocean. Because of this I wanted a more of a permanent home for the straps and jumper cables. But glad you asked.
