2004 5.4l 3v replacement

What is a recomended suitable and direct replacement for this engine?

You have to use the 3v engine 04-08 I bought my son an 04 model that the engine was bad. I researched the internet and this forum and the cheapest I found was 2000 dollars. Lucky for us I checked Facebook marketplace and found one with 95000 miles for 900 bucks. I had never done this before and researching this forum and YouTube I did it myself with my son. I great undertaking with a great since of accomplishment. I still have bugs but it was well worth it. You can message me for any tips.

I have an extra set of new motor mounts from auto zone if you need them.

Any other 3v 5.4 will work. Ford, Jasper, Powertrain Products, and junkyard engines seem to be the most common choices.

Search Powersource/AER..... Several very informative threads

I'm 800 miles down the road on my remanufactured by AER/bought from Powersource 5.4..... very, very pleased
