Hi everyone, my truck is making a weird noise coming from the harmonic balancer. It started happening after I pulled the balancer and front cover to replace the timing chains and guides. I Beleive I might have messed up putting the balancer back on as if I torque it down it rubs the front cover. I have the 5.4 3v engine. Attached is a video of the noise. Please help!

Last time I replaced one, I stoped just before it touched the timing chain cover. Also you should be using the washer it came with. Its a fat washer.

So I'm not missing anything between the front cover and the balancer? I got the big fat washer in front of the balancer, same way it came off.

Something doesn't seem right in your install. How could you torque the crank bolt properly if you don't have the balancer fully seated? FYI, that is a torque-to-yield bolt and needs to be replaced after removal.
