Awesome vid!!!

I plan on doing this tomorrow to retrieve my code. Just one question.....what if the previous owner of my truck changed the code will the factory code on the motor still work? I have a code in my owners manual but it doesn't work.

Default Thanks!

Worked great! I can't believe the previous owner of mine went 3 years without locating this code.

You're one of the lucky ones that don't have to remove your seat to get this code. All you have to do is buy the handle with the keypad built in and it should work with no problems. My dad's 03 FX4 has the code in his owners manual but his truck doesn't have the keypad on the door either.

Phew - one side of my seat was easy, but I struggled for an hour trying to get the other side to unhook. In the end, I did get my code and reset it... but I was kind of stupid and did not write the factory one down. So - hopefully I will remember my personal code

I did a google search a few nights ago and found the exact post is was looking for!!

How to unlock the keyless entry from the keypad?? I bought the truck a few months ago and the dealer didn't provide the code but was willing to charge me additionally!!

I read ur post, followed the YOUTUBE instructions and had the factory code with half an hour, i knew all 2004 -2008 trucks were similar.

I just wanted to say "Thank You" for the advice you provided and this task was not hard to do to find those 5 digits...
