2004-2008 F150 Backseat Removal (Keyless Entry Code)

So my questions is, if the previous owner has reprogrammed the code to a personalized code, can you enter the factory code and it will open? I do see the advantage to having the code if it has not been programmed, but if it has been reprogrammed it wouldnt really matter unless the factory code works regardless.

Yes the factory code always works thats why you need to add your code and use it that way if some one gets your code you can change it. If they get the factory code then your screwed cus you cant change it only replace the computer.

I purchased a 2008 F150 FX4 and got the code from the sticker behind the seat just like the video said. reprogrammed to something I will remember to. Be sure you write the factory code down, a good place in in the owners manual so you have it if needed again or the next owner has it. Thank again for the post and the video.

Old thread and not sure if this works on 04-08 but on the 09-14s if you have both your keys...
Insert key 1 and switch to ON
Turn off
Insert key 2 to ON and it will display door code on dash

Another satisfied customer who now has his keypad working again! Thanks!
Quick hack to save you a little time...after you remove the black plugs that hold the liner on the back behind the seat, just set your phone to record a video, hit start, then slide your phone down the opening and after a try or two you should be able to capture it.
