Default 2004-2008 build guide

On other forums i have been on i have added or there already is a newb guide to build by...for a relative idea. This is a middle of the road, go for performance or lifted trucks.

Starters

INTAKE

CAT BACK EXHAUST

CUSTOM TUNES (SCT XCAL3 OR LIVE WIRE WITH VMP OR TROYER TUNES)

GOOD TIRES FOR WHAT YOU PLAN ON USING THE TRUCK FOR

ELECTRIC FANS

4.56 GEARS

UPGRADED BRAKES

WIDEBAND GAUGE

TRANSMISSION COOLER UPGRADE

SHORTY HEADERS

that is a suggested list to use, there are other things to get and some things may not be needed for certain builds, i am getting much more then that list, however some things i wont be getting. that list can be changed for a lifted truck or a race truck or a tow truck.

THINGS TO AVOID

THROTTLE BODY SPACERS

EDGE TUNER

Maybe the suggestion should be more unbiased.

Instead of 4.56 Gears it should be Gears
Or Custom tunes by Troyer or VMP just Custom Tunes.

I definitely think it is a good idea.

edge has been reported to cause transmission troubles

4.56 are the average gear to go with in these trucks, for both lifted and performance based, any lower and im told you dont get the same feel....that coming from a gent who had swapped
4.10 to 4.56
