I prefer the rectangle fogs over the round. Don't know if either style is better it's just a look thing for me, later models have round.

Default 2004 Lariat 2.5in leveling kit
Heres my 04 Lariat, took the step guards off and added a 2.5in level to the front only. What do you think?

I like a leveled truck better, and the rectangle fogs over round.
