Question 20" rims on a 2004

Hey guys,
I was wondering if anyone had put 20" rims on a 2004 F150 2wd... I bought some from a guy with a 2006 F150 4x4 and when I went to put them on the front the inside wall of the tire rubs at the top... has anyone put 20s on their truck? would a lift/leveling kit help? I am really disappointed because I wanted to get them on there. Someone please help!!!
Rims are 20x10 with Pirelli LT305/55 R20 tires.
Thanks,
Brett

I am not too technical on the parts. I have heard it called an "a-arm". it starts on either side of the strut/spring and comes together behind the rim and attaches behind the brake assembly. I noticed all of you either have a leveling kit or a lift kit listed on your profile. Will that change the angle? Mine is only 2wd does that change the front suspension much?

Probably rubbing on the upper control arm, only real fix is wheel spacers or buying new wheels with a bigger backspacing.

control arm sounds right. it kinda looks like a "y"
well that really stinks!!!
anyone know if they make a .5" spacer? I don't need much at all... It just barely rubs. I just don't want to rip the tire open or something.

anyone know why they wouldn't rub on his 2006 and they do on my 2004?
