Default 2 burnt valves

Got a 2008 f150 with 103xxx on the 4.6l. I wanna pull the head and repair it. But I've heard that's it's almost impossible to do without raising the cab off the frame. Anyone have ever heard this or have experience with this subject? Thanks for any help

Chris.

I know it takes a little finesse to get the heads off of a 5.4, but I haven't heard any issues about head removal on the 4.6.

You heard wrong, its really not that bad. Keep the exhaust manifold attached to the head, and only loosen the two stud nuts that connect the manifold to the cat down-pipe.

The rest is just disassembly to allow you to disassemble the part you want to get at.
