2" Body Lift

I am curious, if I add a 2" Body Lift on my 06 F150 FX4 which currently has a 6" Fabtech Suspension LIft will I be able to run 37x13.50? Or will the 13.50 be to wide and rub?

Id get a three just to be safe. Haven't seen your truck around town before, you just get it lifted or new to town?(I'm across the river). The biggest question is what gears do you have?

35's are the biggest I'd recommend for anything 3.73 or under.

For 37's I'd highly recommend something 4.10 or bigger, otherwise you will be wrecking havoc on your trans and engine.

Actually I have been in Sewer City for almost 1 year and if you are ever on this side you may have seen my truck just never knew who it belonged to. Keep this on the Hush Hush but I am a Active Army Recruiter that works across the street from the mall. Truck is always in the p/lot dirty as all hell.

I am guessing you didnt notice my screen name, but I couldnt begin to tell you what gears I have. Maybe I should do some more researching on that.

Oh, I never drive over their during the day time would probably explain it. Still I tend to notice F-150s that have anything done to them because most F-150s around here are the same as the day they left the dealer. There's a black one with a pro-comp lift that I see at menards from time to time, and a white one that I see on hamilton from time to time, and a yellow one that I see on 129 from time to time, that's it.....

You should be able to call a dealer, give them your vin and they will be able to tell you what gears your truck had from the factory. Gears can run from 600-1000 bucks for the set( front and rear) but is much much cheaper than a 2000 tranny rebuild.... And cheaper than all the gas you'll burn running the engine at higher revs...

I doubt you could even find a 2" body lift becuase most everyone makes the 3", which is plenty for what you want to run. I would go with 4.86s if you go up to 37s for sure, 4.10s won't nearly be a large enough difference for you.
